Homecraft bandsaw restoration




The little Homecraft bandsaw is complete.   This is what I started with last month, I always wanted one of these small bandsaws (model #28-110) and jumped on a local offer at the OWWM forum.

These two holes presented a problem:

Spent an afternoon soldering in copper plugs and dressing them down with a file and sandpaper.   Read more here.

The finished product.   I am pleased, for it's size it's a very heavy machine and runs quietly and strong, but now feel I have to hunt down a Delta model 768 10" bandsaw.
