The Rockwell-Delta 15" Drill Press

From the basic utility drill press to more specialized machines, Rockwell-Delta produced the 15" drill press by the millions in over 40 different models. Its rugged design includes an oversized quill and bearings; as well as heavy, high quality castings, resulting in a product that out-performed similar sized machines. The 15" drill press was marketed mainly for use in commercial shops, vocational programs and industry, and is often found still in service after decades of use.

The assembly will be stripped down, cleaned, polished, and restored with quality components through-out. DP-277 spindle pulley bearing, for Delta 14" & 15" drill presses,

A drop in replacement part for both the high speed and low speed models of the DP220 14" drill press, as well as many classic 15" Delta models. These proprietary bearings are now obsolete, making wear and failure of this critical part a significant issue with the potential purchase and/or operation of one of these fine machines. Double sealed 6205 bearing with pressed on custom extension for inner race. Threaded 3/8 by 24 NF, (National Fine), screw and lock washer included.
